Terms of Service

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By using SheetSanitizer (the "Service") at sheetsanitizer.com you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

SheetSanitizer is a browser-based tool that analyzes and cleans spreadsheet files (CSV/XLSX). Spreadsheet analysis and deterministic cleaning run locally on your device; your spreadsheet contents are not intentionally uploaded to SheetSanitizer servers for processing. Optional AI-assisted features, when you explicitly use them, send only the data you select directly from your browser to the AI provider you choose, under that provider's own terms.

3. License and permitted use

A paid license is a $19 one-time payment · Lifetime access for the purchaser's own use. You may use the Service to process spreadsheets you are authorized to handle. The license key is personal and non-transferable.

4. Prohibited use

5. Intellectual property

The Service, its code, design, and branding belong to SheetSanitizer. Your spreadsheet data remains yours; we claim no rights over it.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments acts as the authorized reseller for your purchase and handles payment processing, applicable taxes, billing, and order-related payment services. Pricing shown at checkout is final. The purchase is one-time; there is no subscription and no recurring charge.

7. Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

8. Software availability and changes

We may update, improve, or modify the Service over time. Because the paid license is lifetime access to the Service as offered, we will make reasonable efforts to keep purchased functionality available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". Spreadsheet data in the real world is messy; SheetSanitizer cannot guarantee detection or correction of every possible problem, and suggested fixes should be reviewed before you rely on the output. Always keep a copy of your original file.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SheetSanitizer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for data loss arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

11. Termination

We may suspend access for violation of these Terms, including license abuse. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability) survive termination.
